There will be plenty of time to even sing the praises of this Rangers team.
Instead, I just want to thank everyone for somehow finding us in this grand ocean of content, and more importantly sticking with us through all the ups, downs, lefts, rights, fun and frustration.
You guys make this so much better every day, even when things are seemingly going to shit.
So, thank you. And Merry Christmas. Love you all and I hope today is filled simply with all the love you can handle.
And fuck Alain Vigneault.

I remember when my complaints were mostly about outside of the game issues like asset management and player usage.
However, this past game against the Leafs changed that. AV pulled his top center for issues cited from the past game against the devils.
This was for “turnovers” which were deemed unacceptable. Now, I for one would prefer that my 1C never ever makes a mistake, but that is not realistic. That the head coach of this team pulled his top center because of a slightly higher than usual number of mistakes while leaving in other players who make consistent errors is ridiculous. That this team has a backup goalie who has seen less than 10 starts behind a 35 year old goalie is ridiculous. That the best winger on this team gets moved down to the fourth line for “reasons” is ridiculous. That lines that work must be broken up is ridiculous.
At some point, I may attempt to mathematically describe how much a coach can help or hurt players who have a certain talent level. The eye test shows to me that this coaching staff is failing players with talent for certain things. The eye test is showing me that chewing gum is a greater brain drain on this coach than why his top defenseman is slower than usual. The eye test is showing me that the coaching staff is completely unsure what to do with success or failure.
I am completely frustrated and am unsure as to what I should feel anymore. If losing every single game for the rest of the season brings a complete shift in coaching staff than so be it.
Every season will be a loss if players and assets are this badly managed.
